"Life's road is long and there are wonders just over the next horizon"

I am activity involved in a search for ways to increase my Health-span(1). I do not want to live forever, but I certainly want to be happy and productive until the end of my life. This section discusses my discoveries toward the cure for the disease of ageing as this appears to be central to a healthy life.

There are several activities that are know to extend life. Some of these are easy to accomplish and some are hard, but they are all worthwhile endeavors. In addition, there are now trials underway for various compounds that extend life in other creatures. The only question is will they work for humans. Unfortunately, at almost 80 years of age, I like many others, can not wait to see the results of the trials which will take more than a lifetime to complete. For that reason, I and many others are self experimenting with some of these activities and drugs in hopes we can stave off the diseases associated with old age. At age 78 it seems to be working.

(1) - Lifespan is well known as the length of time from birth to death. Average lifespan is currently 79 years in the US and up to 86 and climbing in other countries. (I wonder why?) The term Health-span was coined in 2018 to record the number of years of life free of disease or infirmities. So far there are no national records, but everyone agrees that it needs to be longer and the longer the better.
