The Rain is Falling in Paradise

The rain is falling in paradise,
The sun had to run and hide.
The birds have all been grounded,
The humans are stuck inside.

The rain is cooling the pool,
The pool heat’s running hard,
The water is so inviting,
Staying inside is terribly hard.

With a glass of wine in hand,
I will wait for another day.
When the sun is brightly shining,
and, I can go out to play.
